Don't buy any of these. They are not endorsed by Microsoft.

No, it's not good at all. Buy a computer fan with an AC adapter and put it in  the back of the console

As long asyou keep your 360 in good condition in a nice cool environment with the brick in a cool place overheating shouldn't be a problem...mine never was

Here's a link:
http://www.amazon.com/Mechatronics-120x120x38mm-UF12A12-BTSL-inch-Cord/dp/B000F8W35M/sr=8-3/qid=1171835224/ref=sr_1_3/103-3091759-4695837?ie=UTF8&s=pc

How it would work? Well, there are some people that put it on the side of the console, but mine gets a lot cooler if I put it in the back so it helps the internal fan suck hot air out.

your doing more damage then good if you stick it at the back of the machine to "help suck the hot air out as you put it". By doing so the external fan is increasing the revolutions that the internal fans are doing and effectively creating a dc generator. not to mention you will run your internal fans out quicker. it would be best to have it on the side, to blow air in to assist with the air flow as opposed to letting it suck its own cool air in thru the sides or to have a laptop cooler that the box sits on to blow air up, through the vents on the bottom and under the motherboard.

You seem to know what you're talking about... I just changed the fan's position
