Um You do realize we have 220V in the EU and not 110V?

Yes its probably fried. You need a stepdown converter to use it in Europe. A simple adaptor wont do the trick but I guess you learned the hard way.

ohhh yea. i remeber looking through the manual about that. it stresses that u plug it into a standard (however many watts) u.s. plug. they said it like 5 times. anyway, do u think if u call up ms they will send u a new one from the u.s.? afterall, the warranty if FROM the u.s....

Maybe its worth a shot. I live in the EU myself and had to buy a stepdown converter for about 100$ to be able to use my 360.

eitherget a step-down convertor, or buy a multi-voltage AC adapter, or a new AC adapter. I asked MS and they said that they sell AC Adapters seperately, so u might wanna go to some stores where u stay in europe and ask for AC adapters for the 360. Also, multivoltage ones are available... saw one in amazon recently...... don't have the link sorry :(.

sorry to hear the bad news, hope it's not as bad as it sounds! and this is why i like this big brick of an external adapter. at least u can change it! if it were internal, the only way u'd be able to work it in a country with different voltage [110V vs 220V] was either convertor, or voiding ur warranty.

LEARN TO LOVE THE BRICK ADAPTER :D!
