I currently own Halo 4, MW3, and Black Ops. The next game I buy needs to have at least 3 player online split screen on my one console, so that the three of us can play online at once. We all have Live Gold. Co-op campaigns and other local multiplayer are added benefits, as is being a relatively newer game. I love FPS's, but am open to anything except racing. What are my options?? Thanks for all your suggestions!
Borderlands 1 - 2, GoW 2-3, Left 4 Dead 1 - 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are all good ones with 4 player online co-op. A really good game that has local 4 player co-op I am playing right now that alot of people overlooked is Rayman Origins. New Mario Bros. 2d platforming gameplay but better imo. But if you really want a FPS Borderlands 2 or Left 4 Dead 2 are your best bets. Left 4 Dead 2 is cheaper.
burback2, Just to confirm, all of these games allow four people from the same console to play multiplayer online simultaneously, with one screen split into four? Because it seems like they only allow four players on DIFFERENT consoles to play together on-line, though I may just be confused. And I forgot to mention, I already have Rayman Origins. Great game, but a little too short!
ya sorry I misunderstood I guess. I'm certain Left 4 Dead and Borderlands only allow up to 2 player split screen online. I you had 2 consoles you could play 4 player co-op. Not sure about the others anymore but here is a site that may help you. http://www.co-optimus.com/tag/xbox-360
You could try Minecraft, but as the guy above me said, it only works on HD TVs. If you're looking for something like CoD or Halo, I would recommend Far Cry 3. It has a completely seperate co-op campaign and you can play split screen or online. It also has a multiplayer mode but I don't think its split screen.
