Is Borderlands a post apocalyptic game? I thought they were just on a planet. Fallout 2Legolas_Katarn
They were on another planet but I guess it could be post apocolyptic due to the fact that Earth was "wasting away in it's later years." Which is said by multiple people throughout the game.
Story mode - Fallout 3. Multiplayer - Left 4 Dead series. Borderlands was really fun for a while. Loved Zombie Island. I haven't played Metro 2033 but I will be getting it once I have my new gaming PC built.
I voted for Fallout 3 because of the overall game setting.
If i had to pick the game that BEST represents the Doom and Gloom of the post-apocalyptic world, it would have to be Metro 2033. it is just the atmospheric adventure has a deep impact and immersive feel to it.
Since Fallout 3 was the longer game, and the game with more options/things to do, i am sure gamers would remember it more.
Probably Gears Of War 1. I don't like Fallout, haven't tried Borderlands (brother has it), doesn't really interest me, I haven't got Metro 2033 yet and Left 4 Dead is good but can get a bit old especially as I didn't like the Versus mode so I was left with 4 campaigns over and over again. Kind of like completing a game constantly repeatedly. I want to find Left 4 Dead 2 for cheap while on the subject. But yeah, probably Gears Of War 1.
