Yes, but not in a "i need points" way. I look at the achievements on a game and then just unlock them as i go really knowing kind of the ones that i could get etc. I don't go out of my way to get points, depending on the situation. :)Caddy06_88
Same, you're poll options suck.Â
well honestly i do both
i will play for like 4 hours without looking at the acheivements and if barely get any in that amount of time ill look
I never really look at acheivements. I like gettting them, but for me part of the fun is wondering what you did when "achievement unlocked" appears on the screen.

Gamerpoints are fairly pointless to me as none of my friends have 360s and I dont play online....Â
I prefer the achievements to be a nice little bonus when I find them, rather than a goal.Â
Now in Dead Rising, I looked up a few achievements because they coincide with unlocking better equipment, like the megablaster. It wasn't so much the achievement I was after, but the in-game reward that goes with it. When I rented Crackdown, some of the achievements seemed like really fun things to try, such as climbing the Citadel. Finally getting to the top was a really fun experience, and seeing the little achievement icon pop up is icing on the cake. Achievements can be fun even if you're not especially concerned about them.
