NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! TEH NOTHER WAR HAS BEGUN. seriously, i like both for different reasons. When i play halo i don't have to be that serious and can relax and have fun. Also, my friends can play online. I play Cod4 when i want a serious challenge and want to build my skill. I personally reached my peak in halo 3 but i do play it sometimes.
there both great games with there own type of gameplay. theres enough COD4 vs. Halo 3 polls and topics, another war topic about this isnt gonna prove anything
Halo 3 is not better, but the winner IMO for the simple fact that you can play the campaign with friends and you can play on-line with 3 other screens.
I honestly like call of duty wayyyyyyy more halo 3 just isent a very good game in comparison. But halo is a fun game for a bit but that's just my opionion not trying to make nobody mad that dissagrees with me
Best way to ask this without starting another thread...am I correct in saying that there is NO split screen option available for Call of Duty 4? So even if your friend had a live account and wanted to play COD 4 with you, your friend would have to have their own 360? If that is correct then i say Halo 3 because you don't have to be a hermit to play online...not saying that you cant be a hermit, nor that you have to be a hermit to play COD4, just an easy metaphor.

Same here. I mean i still play COD4 for fun. isn't that the point of playing video games, to have fun?But i usually play COD4 when I'm playing by myself and Halo when im playing with friends (on the same console i still play with my on-line friends on COD4 over live but you get what im saying).
guys just stop this nonsense....both games are good in their own way, and youre just causing a split amongst the xbox 360 board members..im tired of this.....arent we all supposed to be one happy community, enjoying games etc.....games werent made for us to fight over them, they were made for us to enjoy..so please close this topic...

ya guys, splitting the community = bad. soon we'll have 360 haters coming in and taking us over and theres nothing we can do because we all hate each other becuz of two great games...somthing just seems wrong with that.
definately COD4...the multiplayer is just designed in a way in which even when im loosing im having fun. Halo 3 just got really old really fast for me. It could've probably had to do with the fact that my friends and I played Halo 2 to death. but for the record, both are good games.
Wow there are way too many of these threads. Anyway, I like both but I have been playing Call of Duty 4 a lot more. Besides the occasional laggy game, it's extremely fun.
