The game has literally been out for one day. You can't dismiss it based on initial performance. Games never run without a hitch right off the bat. That's why developers constantly offer fixes and updates over Xbox Live.
I could imagine lag testing to be a pain in the arse. You would have to fly to a different country with an xbox360 and a copy of the game, and play with someone back at the company building. And then go another place and check. You can't just stay in the same building and test, because it would be perfect everytime. J.k, it's way more complex than that, but it sounded reasonable lmao.
Love the Single Player so far.. but to answer the question, YES it is damn laggy. Quite unplayable. And its not just me. Every server I have played on, everyone says the same thing. But this is common, and Im sure a update will be soon to fix the problem.
yeah i for one was looking forward to the multiplayer as it has a retro feel personaly. But if it is laggy at launch then it will have the same fate as saints row.
Why in the hell would you want to play the game online? You have to realize that this is not an online game and It's focused toward the single player mode.
I played about 7 games, and only 2 were really laggy. The others were fine, with only a slight hiccup here and there. Overall it performed pretty well for me. It would be nice for them to sure it up a bit, and I'm sure that they will very soon. This game is superb in my opinon! :D
