My Uncle works for the Xbox's PR firm, Alan Taylor. He is currently working on Guitar Hero 2 and Halo3.
From what I gather, Â It is more than worth it as the game itself has new tracks, hd, several songs through live the first week and lots more. Also, Microsoft itself might make a wireless version of the controller later (yes, the current is wired). They fear releasing the controllers information could cause creation of third-party controllers that screw up the system ( a la gamecube)
Well none of your choices apply to me. It's fun and worth it, but I own a real guitar so...G4m3r90
haha me too, i remember my friend telling me i suck at GH, and i was like lets see how many notes you can hit on a real guitar. he shut up. im so nice to my friends
It's a game man, it's not supposed to be realistic...It just doesn't make sense to me... the guitar controller only has 5 buttons on the fretboard and I can't play the game at all... but my real guitar has 126 frets on the fretboard, and I can play many of the songs in the games...
I just don't get it. :|

Mine's got 21 frets... oh... haha... when I said 126 frets, I really meant 126 notes. Oops. :D
That's very strange since the creator of Guitar Hero said he was attempting to give everyone "the pleasure of making music" since playing real musical instruments was very difficult. If the advent of the video game had proceeded the advent of the musical instrument, I have a feeling he'd be saying the same thing with his invention of the real-life guitar. It just doesn't make sense to me... the guitar controller only has 5 buttons on the fretboard and I can't play the game at all... but my real guitar has 126 frets on the fretboard, and I can play many of the songs in the games...
