**Poll** Should Bungie keep the push to talk feature

Ireally dislike this feature...i think it should be removed....i want to talk to my team mates w/o pressing  the d-pad

I hate it! I wish you could veto it like the maps and game modes. I always forget to press it and I wind up talking to myself. Talk about awkwardMuffinPunk

don't you remember all the people walking around in halo 2 breathing heavily into the mic, while behind you there's a kid with his mom and baby brother screaming in the backround of HIS mic?

same here i dont like pressing a button just to talk to my team...it makes it so annoying because you might be in a fire fight when no one is around you'll have to hit the D-pad which could get you killed.

But isn't that what the silencing button is for? Surely it's better to allow everyone to speak and then shut the ones you don't like up than have everyone in silence and only have a select few using the chat thing properly.

u still have to hit the d pad if you are far away from your team mates

you do know if you push up once the channel will stay open to your team as long as your spittin out jibba jabba...and it turns off when you shut your pie hole...i hated it too till i figured out it stayed on as long as i was yappin my trap...soo yea...i still suck at halo though....spankmastaflex

You press the Push to Talk button when you want to talk to yur teammates ONLY...If you dont press it everyone will hear you.

haha, i do the same thing all the time. I actually didn't know the feature existed so i was talking and when i say stuff no one ever responded, i thought my teamates sucked until someone told me in the lobby, yea but bungie needs to get rid of the feature, it's stupid

Ummm, are you sure?  I was playing with 2 of my friends on Valhalla and we were all the way across the map and were talking.  I didn't even know they still had the press button to talk feature... :?

Well, we can just send a letter to Bungie and complain about this. That is what the Halo Beta is for anyways, to see how the Halo 3 multiplayer is like so if there are any complaint about anything in the multiplayer, Bungie can fix it. klusps
