just wondering which game gave or still is giving everyone a hard time personally for me, it's halo's legendary ive recently just started playing gears on insane bout 2 days ago, after a 6 month absence from the game, and i'm kicking major ass...but halo...it's just so hard on legendary...but i don't personally think it's the difficulty, it's the game mechanics is gears you get to cover behind things and pop out or up and shoot the oblivion out of those damned locusts...also, it being a third person game you can see almost everything around you, so there's not too many surprises (except those damn lambent wretches) and also your teammates AI (dom, baird, and cole) are ALOT more smarter than halo's teammate AI in halo you can't cover (just strafe back and forth behind a wall) and you can't aim down in sight (like in COD and kind of in gears) i currently haven't completed either, but i should be done with gears here in 2 more days if i play as much as i have been...and i'm almost done with halo 3's legendary, but gears BY FAR has given me the less amount of frustration so, what was harder for you?
halo deff...you cant take cover in halo and wait till your health comes back....but gears had its moments of pure insanity...cough exploding wrenches cough lol :D

I did both with friends but my friend and I had a much harder time with Gears of War. It took us several days on Gears of War, and then I did Halo with the same friend (Yes, only 1) and it took us about 6 hours at the most.
It depends on weather or not you're doing co-op. If you're doing 2 player co-op in Gears and 4 player co-op in Halo 3, then I'd say Gears is harder. If you're doing them alone, then Halo 3 is much harder.

yea, this is supposed to be alone i guess and yea...halo 3 with 4 people is super easy...it's weird cause it's like the difficulty is toned down when there's four players
depends on whether you are alone or not. Also depends on whether or not you are using skulls on Halo. Some of those can make the game VERY difficult and frustrating.
um no. that wasnt hard. that was stupid. it wasnt hard at all... all they did was throw a ton of enemies where they couldnt come up with anything else. it wasnt hard, it was a lame excuse for a hardest setting.

yea...COD veteran is pretty jank the only reason it is really hard for me is that the enemies respawn over and over and over again...it's so stupid, that my ONE pet peeve about COD games...the stupid respawning enemies
I wouldn't say Halo 3 is hard on Legendary so much as it's unbalanced in some areas with poor Checkpoint saving, I found myself dieing at some areas often because the game checkpointed at a terrible location in the middle of a battle, the level wasn't well designed leaving me with little cover or room to move and little ammo, often I died through no fault of my own but I did beat it eventually, when it wasn't saving at poor locations I didn't have a huge amount of trouble (seriously, i've played WAY to much of Halo 1/2's campaign) Gears of War I haven't played much of tbh, i've played it on casual and just started hardcore but I must say that last boss made me want to headbutt my screen!
Halo 3on legendary hands down.I beat legendary By myself and they were a few moments that made me want to sling the controller.Gears on insane did not get hard untill General Ram.
Halo 3's legendary for sure. It took my 4 of my dedicated friends to beat the whole campaign on this mode. WOW the end was so hard and annoying.
Pshh I beat gears of war on insane by myself. It was easy expect killing general raam at the end...WOW i wanted to kill dom because he was acting like an idot the whole time getting close to raam. I just left him there and finished the guy my self.

ahahaha LOL totally agree buddy. In Act 3 in the mine kart section when the exploding WRETCHES are running on the roof towards your kart and if they come a bit close to you then your dead. I had to replay that section maybe about 20 times on insane difficulty.

I beat Halo 3 Legendary by luck, those damn flood s.o.b.'s piss me off so much... way more harder than the lumines wretches(just shoot them before they get too close)...
Gears you can beat it on INSANE alone without any trouble(a friend makes things much easier)... Halo 3 on the other hand just got on my nerves and I almost broke my TV when I got near the middle on legendary...
Gears of War insane is like Halo on normal difficulty; it has a few hard spots, but it's generally easy. I hope Gears 2's insane difficulty will be alittle more challenging.
Basically, there is no comparison, Halo Legendary is much more difficult, hands down.

Very lame thing to say. I can go buy King kong,Fight night 3,and rent Avatar and get 3,000 gamerscore with ease.

yea...COD veteran is pretty jank the only reason it is really hard for me is that the enemies respawn over and over and over again...it's so stupid, that my ONE pet peeve about COD games...the stupid respawning enemiesi didn't think endless amounts of enemies is what makes COD hard, i think the fact that you would sit in cover for 3 seconds trying to heal and a grenade would spawn next to you and you would sit there contemplating whether to risk staying there and getting blown up or risk getting up and getting shot down is one of the things that makes it hard, and other things
