The creators of GoW did a horrible job on creating the characters in GoW. Every single character is massively huge, and their sizes don't even look realistic for pro-wrestlers...I can't stand playing as Marcus Fenix.

marcus fenix fights locust not to mention a giant corpser(giant spider) and in gow2 he fights brumaks and reavers note brumaks and corpsers are HUGE and like the biggest thing master chief has fought is like a brute or a scarab not to mention a scarab is like a robot so hes easier to kill so marcus fenix could pwn master chief
sure master chief has awsome armor so what nothing a gow shotgun couldn't take down in one shot and marcus fenix can take cover while master chief crouches and while hes crouching marcus fenix will come and chainsaw him in half so the winner would be marcus

Um the chief has super strengh he'd wack his head off with his pinkie. Anyway this is a pointless arguement because they're all just going to be what ifs. I choose Master chief because he's sci-fi which i prefer.

How are they for nerds? I thought a lot of non-nerdy people liked Star wars. You know not everyone dresses up in costumes right? Some people just enjoy the movies. You must be young to think that Star trek is for nerds sure theres lots of hardcore fans but it was amazing when it first came out. Also how is Halo for nerds? Unless it has huge steroid men with blood everywhere it's nerdy?

Master Chief... although Marcus has a personality, I don't think you can beat the chief. He wears half ton armor and can still jump 10 feet into the air.
Gay Chief? Has he even got a backstory/personality? Hate to sound like an idiot, but the Halo storyline bored me to tears, so I wouldn't really know all that much (don't flame me, I just really did find it extremely boring).

Yeah, but there's a big difference between playing a game where you're chainsawing through things with blood going all over the place, and shooting plasma rifles jumping around a low gravity environments.
I personally, think Gears was Funner But i'd have to say Master Chief Has done more epic things. The Only cool Thing Marcus has done is cut himself out of a huge worm. I Also personally hate Marcus Fenix he thinks he's just too Bada** and he is jus too cool and too good for anybody and is your stereotypical war machine soldier and his personality is the worst. MC Is All Show little Talk he hardly says anything like he's too cool. Don't Get Me wrong i love all of the other gears of war charecters just Marcus Pisses me off sooooooo much.
