The characters in this game are freaking awesome. When your the second player in co-op you actually feel important in the game. I think I was reading an article on IGN and they said in order for this series to do well it needs to only have 1 hero and i think its the opposite.
I much prefer how the characters all interacted in the first Gears of War over the second one, but I'm just going to answer the question as if you're asking about the franchise as a whole. I pick Baird. That jackass is the funniest out of all of them. Delta Squad is like the odd couple times two.
Colonel Hoffman is prob my fav, he is a geriatric bad ass. Like Clint Eastwood.
I despise dom though, his voice acting was terrible in the 2nd and his face structure compated to the other charecters made him look like he had elephantitis. I hope he gets killed off.
