good job this is the way to do a 360 elite poll but anyway im not getting it because i already have a 360 and dont want to pay 200 or more to upgrade but i will buy those awesome black controllers
As of right now, I'm not going to buy an Elite. I already own an XBOX 360. Maybe someday down the road, I'd eventually buy it because I would like to have an HDMI port for my XBOX 360. I personally don't need a 120 Gig HDD. The 20 Gig HDD is doing wonders for me at the moment. I'll definitely buy 2 black controllers when they come out.
Would anyone know if there'll be a wired black controller or are the black controllers only wireless?
unless you already have one of the original 360's then i dont see the point in trading in your 360 and getting pretty much nothing for it then spending more money just to get a black 360 with more memory. what im going to do is wait till the unreasonable price of that 120 gig harddrive drops. i think its ridiculous that microsoft is going to charge 180 bucks just for the HDD seperately thats way to high...they should have had 120Â gig HDD from the start instead of giving us a crappy 16 gig one.
The way i see it the people who can manage 20gb dont have to be mad about this new elite. But however the hdmi outport will come useful to me since i have a 1080p hi def, itll be sweet now that i can play 360 in 1080p
Why would I want to use my system for a movie player when most systems don't really last that long anyways? it was the same for my PS2, I didn't use it to play movies because I knew the system would break down after so many years, so the less I use it to for stupid stuff like watching movies the longer it will last to play games. All in all it lasted 3 1/2 years. If i was using it to watch movies it would have probably lasted 2 1/2 years. And did DVD players prices drop? Yep!! they went from hundreds of dollars to $30 bucks! PS2's , not so cheap!
But if you don't have a 360 yet, and have the money to burn, why not!
120 GB is ridiculous, unless you want to store tons of music/movies on your 360. I still have 13 GB on my harddrive on the Premium 360 which ive had since 1/1/06.
i cant wait for the elite i had my money set up to buy a normal 360 at the end of march but i seen the elite and now im waiting on it and i say to hell with the older ones. better color, hdmi, and probably works alot better.
I don't know yet. I might. But only becuase of my free Life-Time Warrenty you get from Costco. Maybe if they drop it, or my 360 "accidentally" overheats, I can return it and get a new 360 Elite :D

Same here... see no real reason to it. I'd like HDMI, but don't want to pay $480 USD for it. Haven't even come close to filling my 20gb HDD yet. Other than that, it's the same crapshoot hardware that is in my Premium. Tell me it's got a better DVD drive in it and maybe I'll start considering it.
