how many people actually have 360 problems???

on my first no problems at all

1st one kept on freezing and games didnt work but second one is greatfileman3

5 but only the launch console broke. The next 2 I sold for more than I paid for them. The 4th I sold when the Elite launched so I could buy an Elite.

So the only one I had problems with was the launch console, which by the way...

I bought a PS3 a couple weeks ago when the price dropped and the first one had a system failure (according to SONY) and I had to exchange it. :)

Makes me laugh - ALL HARDWARE consoles have issues.

mine doesn't work anymore i have the ring problem I'm waiting for the repair that coming out in 3 months

I've only have one, since Feburary. Me and consoles are good together. Maybe the add-ons like the 20GB HDD that took 2 months to get back...but hey...360 is good.-Karmum-

Maybe, but I hate Microsoft's Customer Service. I pray my 360 runs for at least another year with no problems...after nearly 2 months of waiting for my 20GB that was "lost in the mail."

i hate those Microsoft damn i gotmy 360 1 month ago (1!) and already have the 3 red lights problem

im on my 3rd 360... none of them broke. therefore I didnt select any option from the poll.

its been 15 months and never had a problem.

What do you mean by power brick?

First 360 broke 6 weeks after purchase, took it back to Gamestop, they replaced it there and then.

Second 360 lasted just over a year, before it scratched two disks (One of which was Disk 2 of Alias...which means I have to buy the whole season again on DVD) It snapped one of the game disks, probably the heat, melted my harddrive to the console (I had to break it off and I burnt two fingers and cut my finger in the process) Gamestop wouldn't take it back, cause it didn't have the 3 red lights, called Microsoft and Microsoft will replace the console, but won't replace the harddrive or the games. (Bastards)

So basically... I'm looking at about 140 dollars to replace what Microsoft won't fix. I'll be buying a 120 gig harddrive for 100 dollars off Ebay and replacing Rainbow six (which should cost 20 dollars) and buy the Alias season which should be 15 to 20 dollars, give or take.

But I still like the system, afterall, this year is going to be fantastic for the 360.

im on my 9th one ive had 2 that didnt even work when i got them from ups:evil:GCROCKS18

Thought I was the only one. My 7th broke and they sent me a new one (my 8th)with all the hardware fixes (Ben Q DVD drive and new heat sink),..........2 days later it gives me random disc read errors and almost gets hot enough to burn my skin. Its got lots of room all that jazz. Well I actually sold my 8th (didnt wanna bother sending it in anymore)and was gonna be done with the 360 all together, low and behold my girlfriend buys me an elite. Gotta say that it runs really cool and quiet so far....but so did my last until 2 days later.

Im hoping this one is the lucky one, but you know its bad when MS themselves say that the failure rate is high. And Peter Moore leaving is no help either. Wonder if he knew a S*** storm was coming and just decided to bail? Anway I want a 360....and I hope I never have to replace this one:)

Dude are you gonna trade that Elite in for the ones that will contain the 65nm chip this October?

Might be a good idea to do that seeing as the one you have now doesn't have it. You shouldn't take the risk of keeping that one as it could bust. Be best to get the chipped system you know.

Lol i had the red rings thing but i just re started the system and it styl works fine i had the rings like 2-3 months ago
