Poor Games You Like

I notice we often talk about popular games, the big titles like Fallout and Fable, but what about the games that got bad reviews, but you still enjoyed?

I'd like to see what we come up with here. What crap game do you think was actually pretty good?

Oblivion and Fable for me, both crappy games but i love them.great_rulo

both those games have a lot of praise.

i cant think of any since i never buy/rent games if its low on metacritic.

Lost Odyssey, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Bullet Witch, the Burger King Games LOL, Amped 3

and I'd have to say the Fatal Frame games and Rule of Rose on the PS2 as well. I LOVED those games but nobody knows about them or they got bad reviews so nobody ever wanted to play them.

I love that game dude and its the most underated game for the Xbox 360 by far, Yes the original was way better, but This game is just fun, Great single player, Great storyline, Awesome CO-OP session, Also awesome multiplayer. I love that game and hopefully we could play sometime, Pheonomenal game.

1. GRAW 2: it got a good score but, not as good as its worth.

2. Americas Army True Soldiers: just have to get use to it.

3. WinBack: love this game I wish they would make a next gen one.

SKATE (Only reason its poor was because of the review here)

The review for this was one of the worst i have seen for a game on gamespot. And this was before all the reviers left. Gerstman really dropped the ball for this review.

the darkness' 8.5 is crappy?

how can you use PDZ - didn't it get a 9 (maybe higher)?

Low scores to be has got to be like under 7

Two that come to mind for me are Soldier of fortune - I can totally understand why it got a low score, but its alot of fun online and off. Its a very retro shooter.

MX vs ATV untamed. I picked this up cheap and its great fun. The only down point is that its not moved forward, plays just like unleashed with a few more options.

Crackdown only got a 7.9 here, but I love that game. It is so much fun and I just can't stop playing it._Pinbot_

I thought it was rubbish at first. Then when I started to upgrade I saw how awesome it really was. Its a great game.

I agree with you on MX vs ATV Untamed. It's a really good game in my opinion.

To add my own game, I would say Beijing 2008. It got torn apart by every reviewer out there, but when it came down to it, I enjoyed myself and thats why I buy my games.
