srry ninja gaiden 2 is probably one the coolest game ever
I would say Haze. That thing was supposed to be a futuristic COD4. Never played it (Not a PS3 owner) but I strongly doubt it hit the COD4 level. The reviews and sales figures seem to bare that out.DarkElf2112
A- It's not supposed to be a futuristic COD4
B- even though it got a bad rating, everybody is buying it and likes it
C- Ya, Assassins Creed sucked, so I'd say it.
I think I played my brothers copy of Assassin's creed for like an hour and decided then and there that I wouldn't waste my money buying it. Probably a good rental though.
What really sucks is that it COULD have been sooooo good. It had a great and innovative control scheme, stunning graphics, and the story could have been awesome. But instead of making it an assassin game, THE assassin game, they made it an annoying errand game.

Riiiiiiiight. And how many "assassinations" do you actually pull off in this game? I haven't played it much but wasn't it something like 4 or 5?
Obviously when I say "errand boy" I meant, go here, climb tower, listen to conversation, steal this from this guy, blah blah. Seriously, It was a great looking game but I would have thought more actual assassinations would have been the point.

Except Assassin's Creed consisted of going to the top of a tall tower, helping a lady or a priest fight some dudes, sitting on a bench and listening to some dudes, pickpocketing some dudes, or getting flags for some dudes. Oooh yeah and after all that do you get to assassinate someone.

No, there were quite a few - But theGTvaccine is right about having to do all that stuff before an assassination; however, collecting the evidence did help an planning an assassination strategy. But back to Althax, how would you know about the number of assassination or make a comment like "...it COULD have been sooooo good" if you only played it for an hour? You had not even had an opportunity to experience the mind blowing repetitiveness of that awesome game - plays game for an hour and suddenly knows all about the game.I'm a little confused. Are you knocking my comments or agreeing with me when you say I "had not even had an opportunity to experience the mind blowing repetitiveness of that awesome game"
And I didn't have to play the whole thing to get tired of it. I read the reviews and talked to folks who did beat it so I knew that what I was getting tired of within the first hour was gonig to continue on.... and on.... and on. Yes there were things about it I liked which is why I said it COULD have been great. It had all the elements of a great game except for the actual gameplay aspects that needed some serious help. Trust me, I wanted this game to be good. I really really did.

Sorry, to confuse you. I am knocking your comment. To clarify, IMO the game is awesome but at the same time it is mindblowingly repetitive, I still play it - sort of hypocritical, I am aware. I am not saying that you need to play a whole game to grow tired of it, I just do not understand how you can get tired of it after an hour? I have played a lot of games some were just awful, but I do not beleive I have ever grown sick and tired of a game without playing a chunk of it. But every gamer is different.
