Predicted GTA IV Review Score?

What is you predicted score for GTA IV? Do you think it could get a perfect 10? I predict a solid 9.5amirsafar

It wont get a ten unless there's a ton of changes and they're all perfect. I bet it'll get 9.5 as well.

from what ive heard gta 4 has a lot of new/changed features so it could go either way. i could seeing it get a 10 if all the changes are amazing/bug free. i could also see it getting as low as an 8 if the changes arent done well.

But seriously, no the game will not get a 10. GS has only handed out a few of those in its existence and the next one will most certainly not be a GTA game. However, I do believe it will get a 9.5. If only based on Rockstar's GTA trackrecord at GameSpot. Though that is all we have to base, am I right? We have very little info or gameplay footage so this thread won't get us anywhere.

umm they gave out a 9.6 to gears of war and oblivion so why it anit able to get a 9.8? i know the odds is like crazy to even get that but ya. it got the power to beat oblivion but it wont because oblivion you could go any home, cave w/e even tho most looked the same, GTA can go in most building no loading even tho doesnt make a game rockstart trys to do a good story and oblivion didnt have much of that even tho they had 200 quest. oblivion could even got a 10 if it had a decent mutiplayer

just saying rockstar wouldnt relase one of best tittles outthere with osme big bugs and B.S. there well be bug count on it. if rockstar said you can play the whole game without a loading screan and its a big game with alot to exspore count on it unless they wanna turn in to just a gaming company where profit means every last darn thing

Gamespot gave games 10/10 in the past. Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 both got 10's I think. They haven't gave any 10's out for a while. I think GTA4 or Ninja Gaiden 2 have the potential to score 10.

oh, and gamespot gave vice city a 9.3 and san andreas a 9.6, so whoever says they have to score in incrememnts of .5 is kind of off a bitsly_fiz

That's gamespots system.. Find ANY recent game that got a score that wasn't in increments of fives.

Better yet, just read their rating system rules.

however, gtaIV will make a great score. only thing i could see hurting the score is lack of depth in multiplayer and difficulty.
oh, and if there's an rc helicopter mission, there goes 3 points.
i bet $20 game informer gives it a 9.75 though.

I'm not refering to the actual score. The game will likely get 9.5.

But they only do it in increments of .5, which started after June 25th 2007. The game will not get anything other than 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, or 10. As gamespot does not give anything else out, after June 25th 2007.

holy crap, THPS 3 got a 10? I never knew I owned a 10 game... but yeah, GTA IV should get no less than 9.7 if GTA: San Andreas got a 9.6, believe it.

LMFAO is tony hawk 3 got a 10 then GTA can get a 10

I predict an 8.5 and that they complain about the graphics and some performance problems that they overexagerrate. Then I predict a bunch of posts being made about how the game got screwed and some boycott should happen or whatever, and then there's a big uproar because all of the threads got locked for being "off topic... or was it something more?".

But forget all that... I predict I'll have it on launch day and that I'll love it. Who cares what score it gets?

9.5 They are gonna give it a merit for value,great voice acting,great story and superior animation
