oh no my friend. premium themes are more than just a background. they are not just a picture but almost an interactive background. friend list will be changed and settings and other screens will be changed also. there is a reason they cost so many M$ points. cause they are very detailed and spread out plus more clearly visible with the new dashboard

Thread starter: they are basically just really pretty looking backgrounds with 3D bits in the friends list. Not worth the money and just another attempt to draw in gulliable people who will spend money on anything

It's an overpriced wallpaper.. just a scam to get peoples money for something that takes a min to make. Only dif between a regular and premium is on the friends tab the thing the avatar is in front of will be 1 of 5ish items related to theme.

^ yep. Does anyone know how to change the theme to a jpeg from a flash drive? I know you used to be able to when the 360 still had the blades dashboard (Old Xbox Experience if you will) because I did it myself but I haven't been able to with the NXE. Did they remove this feature or something? I can definately see MS doing it to capitalize on premium themes.

Well yes, it's a background + your friend list on the dashboard also has different backgrounds.

I like them better than the original themes.

I might be wrong, but I don't think you can put up your own background. If you could that would be wonderful, but I've never heard of it being done.

yes you can upload ur own wallpaper,if you have a flash drive than just drag any wallpaper you want from ur pc to flash drive than plug it in ur 360 and go to the pictures in ur drive and apply whatevr picture you want I think you press Y or somethin...try it ur self.
