If your a true fan of Microsoft and the 360 then you don't want them to drop the price of the 360 very much. Okay sure everybody would like to save money, but Microsoft is already losing money on each console sold. When the ps3 drops everybody will stop whining about the prices of the 360 and they will be happy that their console didn't cost 500 dollars. If Microsoft dropped its prices it would have to depend almost solely on its Xbox live and software to make up the slack. If they didn't make up the slack, then who knows, maybe we could have another Dreamcast on our hands even though they do have tons of money.HiResDesThey will always lose money on each console sold. The same was true with the original Xbox and the PS2. The money doesn't come from the consoles themselves. They make their money on the games and accessories sold.

What?????
The price will drop when manufacuring cost drop. That is usually how it happens unless they think they have to compete with Sony by dropping it.
Software is where all the money is made not in hardware sales. So it doesn't matter if they drop the price it won't effect MS in anyway what so ever.
