Price drop for the xbox 360 in Canada/USA?

I live in canada and Im thinking about buying a Xbox 360 but in my opinion its overpriced.

Id be happy with a 50$ price drop.

Is this going to happen eventually or not?

Yeah literally a week or two ago it dropped $50 in canada. Make sure your premium has the hdmi cable if your gonna get that instead of the elite and welcome to the best next gen gaming community!

Games I might recommend: Gears of War, Rainbow 6 Vegas, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Condemned 1 & 2 (if you purchase condemned 2 on wednesday at circuit city, you get condemned 1 for free), bioshock, assassins creed, oblivion, forza 2 (if you like racing games), and mass effect

You're pissed...? I had to buy my Nintendo Wii on Ebay, earlier this afternoon. But I got a great deal, just 10 bucks more than what I would have to pay at the store. Shipping included, already. The hard part was finding an affordable Wii. They jack the prices up on Ebay to take advantage of high demands. Unfortunately, all the stores in my area were sold out of Wii's and they were apparently sold out online, everywhere.

I think any more price drops in the U.S. will make the Xbox 360 lesser in value. The lowest I can see it dropping to would be $300, and that's as far as it goes. At least not until, we start seeing sneak peeks of the new next-gen consoles. That could be 2-3 years from now.. or more.. :shock:

Well from what others have posted in this thread it was, and still is cheaper to buy a 360 in America. The Premium has just dropped to £199.99 in the UK, which is roughly $400 USD. Before the price drop it was roughly £260, which is $520 USD.

I don't know about Canada, but the best Xbox here in Texas is 50 bucks cheaper than the worst PS3. Kind of a no-brainer.teletran0n3

What does the price of a PS3 have to do with the 360's price in Canada? Or anywhere for that matter.
