price drop meaning new system?

because of the new price drop of the xbox 360 elite i was planning on geting it, but i was just wondering if they are dropping the price to make way for a new system. plz tell me if i should just get the 360 now or if a new system is coming out soon should i just wait to get that.

I dont think so, i just think that they are trying to stay relivent for the holiday season because of the PS3 price drop.

Microsoft I'm certain don't even have blueprints made up yet of their next Gen system. Go get the Elite, it's a sweet Deal and next Gen is years away.

I doubt it means a new system on the way. Speaking of this though, it would be nice if they dropped the price of the harddrives while they are at it. :?
