Ok, I have found stores that have both the Pro Bundle or the Elite system. Which one is a better deal? I know the Elite comes with the HDMI (which I would plan on using), but does the Pro System have HDMI as well, and if so, how much do HDMI cables cost? So, overall, which one is a better deal, the Pro for $349.99 or the Elite for $449.99?

I think the new pros have HDMI now. And if that's the case, think about how much HDD space you need. If you're into downloading tv shows and movies and if you think you might buy a lot of Xbox originals, you may want the extra space and go with the elite. Otherwise, save the money and get the Pro.

If you factor in the cost of the 120 GB hard drive at $179.99, then it does seem like a good deal, but it really depends on if you want to use all of that space.

I won't be downloading any TV shows, maybe some movies, but definitely Live games. Not really sure how much space the Live games take up though.

If the Pro comes with the HDMI and you don't need all that storage space (which chances are you don't) then Pro is the way to go. If it doesn't come with the HDMI, I'd get the Elite since the cable itself is like $50.

LOL we're not talking about an HDMI cable... we are talking about an HDMI port on the 360 below the standard component port... this allows you to either use HDMI to HDMI on a TV or HDMI to DVI on a Monitor for a true digital signal and picture... as opposed to analogue...

Hmmmmm, the OP specifically asked how much the HDMI cable costs. I was just trying to be helpful.

It is relevent because Elites include the cable, but as far as I know... the HDMI Pros don't. So, comparing theElite to the HDMI Pro, the extra 100 gets you the cable ($50) and the 120GB HD ($180) aside from the obvious color difference. I also beleive the Elite comes with the digital audio bypass and the Pro does not.

the Pros have HDMI, but not the cable, the Elite does include the cable

i'd go for the Elite (which might also have those 2 free games), if you have an HDTV

No HDMI cable cost $50 and is worth it for the price...

I think you are refurring to Best Buy where they try to sell you their "Super Delux 24-karat Gold Plated HDMI Cable"... I have a cable from newegg.com that cost $4.99 and I have had it for about 2 years now with no problems...

So a free HDMI cable should not be your selling point on a console $100 more expensive...

Yeah if you buy Elite now... some places give 2 free games to... newegg.com is doing that... same $449.99 price with 2 free games...

Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance are the free games...

I'm referring to the cable that comes packaged with the Elite:

both have HDMI now.... if you buy an HDMI cable go to monoprice.com... you can get a quality 6ft gold plated HDMI cable for $15 to $20. DO NOT buy one from a major retailer, the markup in those stores are rediculous. I used to work at a Circuit city and the markup was almost 90%... rediculous!!! Get the Elite... the bigger Hard drive is better in the long run.

How do you figure? The Elite comes with accessories priced above the $100 price difference between the two bundles (the hard drive alone costs $180). The Pro is the better PRICE if you don't need the hard drive or HDMI cable, not the better VALUE.
