I bought Braid and got to the 4th world in one sitting, turned off my system, came back a few days later, and turned it on to find that I had no Braid memory. I had to start over.

I was pissed at this alone, but I started, and then I get to the end of the first (well, 2nd) world and it says I don't have the full version. So I go to download it, and it's already on my memory (duh). I try repeatedly using different variations for the game to work--for me to be allowed to play the full version that I purchased.

Anyone have any advice for me? I'm afraid to delete the game off of my hard drive for fear that I won't be able to retrieve it afterward. If someone can prove to me that this isn't the case, or has any information about how I might solve this problem, please help me out!

Thanks.

Have you tried the Briad forum?? I haven't had the problem you describe, but I do recall reading about it in the Braid forum. I think the fix was deleting the whole game including save files and re-downloading it. Not what you wanted to hear I bet.

Oh BTW you can re-download the game again so long as you use the same gamertag you used to make the original purchase. In the marketplace area go to Marketplace tab, account management, download history and you will be able to download again for free.

Okay thanks alot, that clears up everything. I just basically wanted to make sure you could delete games from your system memory and still be able to download them for free.

Thanks :)

Apparently Microsoft is going to fix this problem in the next update...

Of course Microsoft also said that the Xbox 360 would be backwards compatible so hmmm...
