Problem with playing music from a portable device.

Hi, i recently got the Samsung YP-P2 music player, i want to connect to my xbox 360 so i can play music through it. It connects fine and everything no problem but when i try to play music on it it only plays the first 10 seconds or so of each song. I also have the Sony erricson W810i walkman phone and when i connect this it plays fine. What do i need to do to make the YP-P2 work?
