Problems with my xbox.

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone could possibly help me figure out a few problems ive been having with my 360. The main problem is that it takes me about 15 minutes to get my xbox to read a disc. Ill put the disc in, and it will say "READING DISC" for like 20 seconds and then it will just say "OPEN TRAY". The second isnt exactly a problem, at least not yet. My 360 is immortal...ive gotten the 3 red rings of death 4 times and one red ring of death once and my xbox still works fine. (excluding the reading disc problem) If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

Your xbox sounds like a war vet lol, anyways, have you ever sent it in for repair? I know you said you got the red rings and such but did you actually send it in? Also, sounds like your disc drive is finally giving in to old age, taking that long to read cds is ridiculous and i can only imagine its time is fading slightly more everyday.

Do you have problems installing to the hard drive as well?
