Is there any way to get a written statement that shows all of the DLC you purchased for your 360 console? I'm planning on purchasing some more dlc in the near future and just wanted some tangible evidence. Am I the only one like this? I'm just very percise when it comes to all my finances and Iwould like to see all the numbers in the front of me. Thanks in advance. Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

Everything is linked to your gamertag

That's all you need, in your options you have the ability to look over every single transaction that you've ever made

Yes, I understand that, but I want tangible evidence not something that I'm looking at on a screen. What u're saying is that I will always have to be either on my console or a computer to look at my transactions? I never heard of a company doing that before. Is there a way to print what i'm looking at? Am i the only one that thinks that its a little odd? My rent, cell phone bill, car payment/insurance, cable, etc. all gives me the option of having a printed piece of paper. that is all i am asking for. This is the only company I know that will not provide a receipt for a transaction. Is there no way to get a paper receipt??

My advice would be, hold onto those confirmation emails Microsoft sends you every time you buy Microsoft Points. It might not be proof you bought a particular game, but it is proof that you bought those points.

You can see your purchase history on the computer and then you could print it off.

He's right. If you go to Xbox.com, sign in, click on Marketplace at the top, and instead of My Account select Purchase History. It will show you everything you've ever downloaded.

yea that might be my only choice. Some of the dlc I purchased with my credit card so I am may be ok. But the ones that I didnt, I have no proof. Proof of points doesn't necessarily mean I used them on any particular dlc. Thanks 4 the help.

Purchase history from where? The Microsoft website? Or do you mean if my computer is hooked up to my xbox.? I hope u mean the M$ website and I just been overlooking that option to view my purchase history this whole time. I don't even have a computer to hook up to my 360 console. Plus that would be ridiculous on M$'s part for me to have to go thru all of that just to get a paper receipt...

Thank you CNUrGames and jstarzk!! I'm about to go and try that out now. I much rather have it on official microsoft documentation, but this will do for today. Pardon me for my OCDing but I've had so many problem with M$ and xbox 360, i try to avoid and be fully prepared for any future mishappening. I can just see me buying a whole bunch of DLC, switching to an elite, and trying to convert all of my DLC only to find out M$ can't find any of it nor the liscenses to transfer it. Without any proof, it would just be a lost cause. Thanks again!! ;)

You don't really purchase DLC. You purchase MS points which you can then spend to download DLC. As a result, if you buy 1600 MS points that's $20. It doesn't matter if you buy a 400 MS point DLC and never touch the other 1200 points, you still spent $20 regardless. Thus, as long as you buy your MS points with credit/debit card you should have a record of your actual purchases. Since you sound so anal about finances I'd also be willing to assume that even you buy the MS point cards with cash you would still have a record of it somewhere (store receipt, personal note, etc.).

There's nothing "to find". It's all virtual and it's all tied to your account, so it's automatically transfered to a new console as long as you transfer your account. If MS can't "find" one of your purchases then it's not going to show up on that purchase history statement either.

I apologize for not using the correct word and using "purchase" instead. Regardless, I want a receipt of the TRANSACTION that was made from me "spending" the MS points on DLC. I do not want a record of my purchase of the M$ points. Was your last sentence really necessary?? Was that an attempt at an insult? FWI, no I don't keep the receipt because the card is tangible evidence that can be traced. It has a serial # as well as the MS code that you enter to redeem the points, which must coincide with one another. I also very rarely cary cash, I use plastic often. I also don't know what buying with cash has to do with it. I get more receipts using plastic than paper. Why even post here if you're gonna make such a smart remark. I'm sure there's plenty of other threads that are looking for your contribution.

Do you not understand what I mean? Why is it that the word or term I use must be so specific for you to comprehend? I am not speaking latin. Computers tend to **** ** sometimes. **** happens. As long as I have documentation from M$ saying that a particular DLC is connected to my console I'm content. I'm paying my hard earned money for it. You act as if asking for a paper receipt is unheard of nowadays. BTW, i know everything you just said and the whole process, I just want a paper receipt. Just like i said in my first post.

Thanks for sharing your experience because there's people on here that act like what u said is impossible. If you go on xbox live, are the games still on your download history page? Did you ever find out why it was specifically those two games?

Might sound a bit pedantic, but technically the only thing you buy on Live is MS points - everything on Live is then traded for with these points. If you have your credit card linked to your account you would get evidence on your credit card bill showing each time you bought points. If you want a record of every time you bought something onLive you can use MS billing to show the record of your purchases. Still only something viewable on a screen, but it does show each time you add points or spend them on buying something

Someone has already posted this. I now see I could've worded my post better. I do not want a receipt of M$ points. I want a recepit of the M$ points being used to obtain DLC. That's its. No more, no less. I want physicall tangible proof that a particular DLC belongs on my console. I do not want to experience what pete_merlin went thru.

lol dude why does it matter what you buy? the fact remains that you bought a 2800 point card, or whatever amount, and then you spend it. It doesnt matter what you spend it on really... so why do you care?

WOW, reading is really fundamental. I do not want a receipt of the m$ points. I want receipt showing the DLC that I have obtained from the points. It is very simple. You must have not read what pete_merlin wrote. Why do I care? Becuase I want a record of what bought just in case somethinggoes wrong with my DLC. Please look @ pete_merlins post. Also, regardless of how I got the DLC, I spent my hard earned money on the points. I'm entitled to a paper receipt.
