Prototype is awesome!!

After reading igns review 7.5 I believe, and thinking that it was a wanna be infamous (mostly because they kinda look alike and most of all they came out around the same time, and plus I heard alot of people saying it. So yesterday I went to my local game store to buy a game, and I couldnt find anything that I hadnt already beaten or that I dont own, Everything else looked horrible, So I asked the guy who worked there what he thought of prototype, and he said he "adored it" so I was like what the heck I will give it a try, So far I am about 2hr into it, and I gotta say I love it. Sure falllout 3 and gears might be better games, but I will tell you what this game is freaking fun. I love how you can buy new skills with exp points, it gives you a purpose to keep playing, and the story is pretty cool, the only thing I dont like is that the auto aim can be kinda funky sometimes, but other than that I think its a great game, I think ign was smoking a crack rock when they rated it haha, I would give it an 8.8 or so, what do you guys think about it?

7.5 is more than fair...you'll see when you complete the game and go back for another playthrough...

IGN gave the worst game I have ever played TWO WORLDS a 6.8 which is just a little bit less than 7.5, do you really think infamous is just a little bit better than two worlds haha?

I also tried two worlds, and it was a major letdown. So don't trust reviews based on scores. I usually check why they've recieved their score. And prototype I believe they commented on the camera view. Which I found frustrating at some times. I completed it and will most likely never play it again.

it is awesome and there is a rumor going around it will get co-op DLC ...keep your fingers crossed

Prototype is an excellent game. It may not have all the glitz and glam of its peers but it's still a blast evenaftermultiple playthroughs.

omg coop dl content would be NAAAAASTY!!! That would be sick both guys running up buildings and throwing cars at helicopters, Im with ya with the crossing of the fingers!!

Indeed, indeed it is. I've finished it twice. Gamespot's 8.5 sounds about right. Mad fun game.

I dug it quite a bit. I could have done without those cheap ass hunters though.

Very fun game from what ive played of it.

It's a lot of fun I enjoy just running around killing everything. I am close to beating it but I am having too much fun watching the military get its *** kicked although the storyline missions are cool some are incredibly frustrating. Nothing too bad though I can't wait to see what dlc there is going to be.

its a good game but once you beat it its boring

i think its a fantastic game but i think it deserves an 8.5 not a 7 or 8 or whatever the reviews say.

thanks for the input guys, Im glad you enjoyed it as much as I do. As for playing it again after I beat it, I probably wont, but thats how it usually is except for games like re5 (to get all the guns) and games with multiplayer or coop. The main game I haVe played over and over is fallout 3 but its a rarety, I enjoy the stories alot and i get bored after I beat it and know whats going to happen, so I wont use that in the argument against this game.

An hour after i bought and played this is was like WOAH! THE MOST AWESOMEST GAME EVAR!

but after you've got all the weapons, then what. you soullessly drudge through more unvaried quests.

and what the hell is up with the A.I.? christ it's him! oh wait its just a guy who fell off a 400ft building.

i am selling it today.

I had a lot of fun playing. Great game indeed.
