Ok, first things first;

When I put a game in my 360, a white screen pops up with words saying something along the lines of "put disc in 360" in about 7 or 8 different languages. When I restart the conole, the game works fine. Why does it show this white screen the first time and then the game works the second time? Please help me if there is a solution to this problem.

I don't know exactly what it means but as long as it works the second time, who cares?

I used to have this on my GeoW disc.

Yeah, I'm just worried that something will happen before the release of Assassins Creed, and I would friggin spaz out if anything happend in the next month. Sometimes, it even happens twice before the game works. :(

After a while it's going to break. That would be the signs of your DVD drive failing. There are ways you can fix this yourself but you'd be better off sending it in to MS.

Same crappy thing has been happening to me. It started out like your case and this very second I'm finally playing Halo 3 after about 8 restarts. I think I'm going to buy a 3 year warranty before my 360 craps out on me(this is my second console).

That has been happening to me lately when I put in Guitar Hero II. I just take it out... put it back in and it works fine. It's annoying though that I have to do it, but whatever works right?

Instead of getting a message my 360 games and DVDs simply say unplayable... and with CoD4 and Mass Effect right around the corner I'm hoping there is a way to fix this without sending my system in :|

I'll probably buy an extended warranty. My Xbox 360 warranty is running on the extended 3 year warranty. This warranty only covers RROD.

This happens to me every time I put in DoAX2. That's the ONLY game it ever happens with, but yes, as soon as I reset, it plays fine.
