Ask this in the Tiger Woods 06 forum, you'll probably get a quicker response.

use the putting camera. Then you have to make a guess of where to aim in order for the ball to move along the ideal putting path.

I found that putting in the 360 version is more difficult than in the first XBOX version. But the trick to it for the most part is use the putt camera to see the break. what I typically do is aim the arrow approximately where the line begins to curve toward the hole. Try to find an area in the background (i.e. a tree, or a shadow on the green) and line up the arrow to that. More often than not you will sink it, or be really close. keep an eye on where the ball is in relation to the hole, above or below, because you may have to adjust the strength of the putt based on if the hole is uphill or downhill. Hope this helps.

I assume you mean Putt. Here is a trick. Most putts have some background behind the green. Look at the line and see where it meets with a background item, like a tree or house or sand trap etc. Once you get the hang of it, you will find you don't even need the background item anymore, you will get a "feel" for the break.

I don't know why they set it up like this.  Why couldn't they just leave it the same as they've always had it.  This ruins the game for me and I am going to sell it.

Games have to change sometimes, man...just keep at it and don't give up so quickly. It really isn't a very difficult system to use, and after playing through some of the career challenges you'll have it down to a science. If there's anything worth complaining about in comparison to the current-gen versions, it's the small number of courses much more than the new putting system.

I find putting very easy in Tiger Woods 06.  The trick is to use the putt camera (A) to see where the putt will break, line up your putt in that direction, and the big key is to select the right power setting.  If your putt is 20 feet, and you choose 20 feet power, I always end up short - I can never hit it perfect, so I choose the next power level, which in that case would be 30 feet.  There is a chance to hit it too far, but hey, its like real life.  If the put is 26 or 27 feet, then 30 feet works out great - line it up and let 'er rip.  The same holds true for the clubs - the distance it says I should hit is a little bit too long for what I actually hit, except for the rare ocassion I hit a perfect shot. :D
