Q: ! does any regular x360 games work for kinect??

hey i just got the new kinect today and its amazing, very responsive on adventures... but something in my memory tells me that there are 1 or few regular xbox 360 games that works with kinect... i just want to know if i remembered wrong... and i think i remember reading forza motorsport 3 and burnout paradise or something in that road, being compatible with the kinect sensor... please tell me if it does or if any other game does work with it... thanks in advance

Only Kinect games work as of right now. They'll probably patch certain games like Forza and Burnout down the line...But as of now, nothing.

Reason: The xbox 360 games with the kinect sign in them means that it'll work with the kinect, the ones without the kinect sign in them doesn't work with the kinect.

Uh, can't you use it as like the camera thing though? :S Like on RSV 1 or 2.. when you can use your face with your camera? Because there was some kind of Xbox 360 webcam thing before? Can't this replace it?Wakanoid

You MIGHT be able to do that (use the Kinect to replace the old webcam)

But that's not what the OP was asking. He was asking if you could play older games using Kinect, like Forza 3, as we've seen in tech demos. But even that game doesn't work. Not until they patch it anyways.

I would imagine that we will see remakes of pre-Kinect games as a way of testing the more mainstream game market before we start seeing many new mainstream games coming out with a large degree of Kinect compatability. In other words: expect a Kinect enabled Forza 3 before a Kinect compatable Forza 4 :p

at the hifi shop i work at, we sell games to. forza 3 is being cleared out REALLY cheap and some of the guys are predicting its purely to make way for kinect re-launch.
