Depends on what kind of shooter fan you are... if fast paced frenzy action is more yer game then Quake is the way to go. Something like Condemned is a bit slower and has the more atmospheric creepy thing going. Whats cool is Quake2 does come with the newer game but I think its an unlockable.

When I bought Quake 4 they gave me a Quake 2 disc in a paper sleeve. I think it was a promotional thing. They probably still sell Quake 4 with Quake 2.
condemned's combat seems really cool, and there is a sequel coming out so if i like the first there is more coming soon, but the lure of two games Quake 2 and 4 for just $15 is so awesome. Its hard to choose!
so go with quake 4, you'll get both eventually. i just bought quake 4 a few weeks ago and it's a really good fps imo, and quake 2 is actually decent to play around with. also, quake 2 comes on a second disc, so if you dont get a 2 disc package, you're not getting quake 2.

a little bit but not much. it takes a while to get a game going. quake 2 has some local multiplayer options.

I got Quake 2 with it and it came on a seperate disc. Actually I got two copies with mine (buying used has benefits) and I sold one on ebay for like $15.
It would be a steal at that price for two great games.

Oh since you already have a fast paced shooter then I would have to HIGHLY recommend Condemmed just to change the pace a bit and give you an alternative shooter to choose.

Don't makes decisions so difficult. They're both cheap games. Both are good, but Condemned is the better. Either way you'll be happy with your $20 or under purchase.
im thinking after this sale both are going back to $30, but Quake seems like the one that would have another price drop soon. I think i will go with Condemned, just thinking of a nice Single Player story that can scare the bajesus out of me while playing in the dark, it is very intriguing thanks for the help guys!
i like condemned much better. its a good game to play by yourself in a dark room at night, preferably when your completely alone. and its just a better game. i dunno, i hated quake 4.
