I currently still own a regular xbox, and would like to know a few things before i buy a 360. I'd reallie appreciate it and thank you in advance if you do take your time to answer my questions. Thank you

1.) Would a HDTV be required? Would it be ok if it were jus an LCD screen or flat screen period?(if so would there be difference in graphics, quality wise?)

2.) Does the 360 allow you to have your own music playlist during gameplay?

3.) Is it actually capable of saving songs into the system?

to those of you who answer my questions, i thank you, i know they were noobish or retarded, but i jus need to know before i buy, and if anything, i missed or should knoe, please feel free to list as well! Thank you!

1. No. Yes. HD looks better in my opinion, but I get along fine with my old SDTV.

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

I thank you for taking your time to answer my questions, and about the tv issue, so if the screen were flat, it would look better than the old regular tvs right?....

you can hook the 360 up to your lcd moitor with the vga cable (sold seperately). you can choose the resolution you want from the 360 dashboard. in my opinion, if you have the means to play games in hd, do it.

the 360 can rip any type of audio cd you have (even burned discs). it can also read (not rip) picture files from a cd.

Well since you are asking about the LCD tv, I am assuming it is not HD.  Probably EDTV.  You can try hooking it up with a vga cable and set it at the resolution it, should give you 480p but not true 480p since it is probably not widescreen.  If you are not going HD, at least make sure you hook it up to a TV that has component inputs, that alone can make a big difference in color depth and sharpness.  But 360 should look pretty good, you will just be missing out on little details but the character models and nice pixel shader effects should still look good.

1) I'm using an LCD 19" Widescreen and it looks great! I'd say around 720p quality atleast. You need the VGA cord though (which is around $40 retail). 2)Yes, in two ways. You can burn your MP3s right on the 360 when you put in the CD (just like your Xbox) and you can also use Windows Media Connect(built into Windows Media Player 11 now) and stream music from your PC. 3)Yes, like I said above.
