alright so i have all my acheivements and stuff saved under my profile on my hard drive. say my hard drive breaks or is stolen or something like that. will all of my achievements that are on my account be able to be accessed again through xbox live (since i have xbox live gold) or will it be gone? or is there a way to somehow upload your progress to your live account or does it do it automatically? also, is there a way to back up save files and profiles other than buying the expensive memory units?
Achievements and records of bought items from the Marketpace are saved online. Your game saves are only saved on your hard drive, and the only way to back them up is with a Memory Unit.
ok cool. but sometimees i play without being online. so when i get back online, do i have to upload my acheivements or do they just update themselves onto my live account?
does that mean that all you have to do is connect online and your achievements will be updated, or that you have to have been connected when you gained acheivements for them to be transfered?
