Question about accoutn recovery on Xbox

IF i want to recover a Gamertag from the 360 onto the Xbox, how would I do that when it ask for a credit card? Is it possible?

I changed my name a few months ago, so I can not go online with it. Plus Microsoft wants more money so they do not put Timsplitters Future Perfect on the backward compatible list for me to play which is why I want to do this.

it's possible but you might have to call 18004MYXBOX so they can talk you through it. my friend has his live account on my 360. he also has an old XBOX to play Halo 2. i'm not sure how he pulled it off but it's possible.
