Well i reall wanted Mass Effect but i noticed it has sexual themes :cry: . and i was wondering if its like somthing thats activated when you do certain stuff or is it just something that happens and you can't prevent it?
It's something you must activate by talking to some NPCs. And you'll know when it's about to happen, trust me. And it's not that much sexual, more sexy than anything else if you want my opinion. Less sexual than any videoclip you'll see on tv anyway.

Are you the kind of backwards person that would be perfectly okay with killing aliens or other people but then spazz out at the thought of seeing someone's random bare ass (albeit a finely toned one) ? If so, you should be grateful your parents ignored that freak show to make you. ;) Seriously, I don't understand why people get so uptight about anything remotely sexual, and then these be the same people who are totally okay with ruthless gore on the news or on TV. M rated games are for 17+, not you. so dont ask questions about it if you cant even buy it yourself. tell your parents to actually care enough about you next time you see them and not let a vido game be a babysitter. cause thats what all they are doing by buying you a mature rated game. when your old enough to buy it on your own your old enough to play it and ask questions about it

Hahah i know i was just wondering my mom freaks when i ask for a game like mass effect like i am freakin lucky enough to have RSV2, Oblivion, and Halo 3 i have more but these are the only ones i play frequently xD but thanks for your replies and one more thing lol is there any good T-Rated Games hahhahaha. hahaha, I played Mortal Kombats all the time when I was younger but that didn't have "sexual themes"

yeah I know, i'm not saying every 11yr old does it but i've had cases where like my buddy's would say they over hear their friends sister who is 11-13 complaining about not having sex yet to their friend of the same age. It seems that girls (that are doing the act) see a bj as not being sex at all, which I guess is why they do it so freely. That and for extra money probably.
Just buy it and be happy. The "sex" scene, if you can even call it one, is something the player must choose and does not happen without player intent. And the scene is nothing, you've easily seen worse on television before. Besides, think of how silly you'll think yourself of have been acting when your older.
I'm glad to see that some people still care about content, but the sex scene in Mass Effect was blown way out of proportion. It can be avoided, but even if you don't avoid it, there isn't much to see. The sex scene basically shows a topless guy or an alien that is less provocative than Mystique in X-men, and there really isn't any sex shown. They kiss, but that's pretty much everything. So if your parents allow you to watch the X-men movies, you wouldn't be seeing anything new in Mass Effect.
