Question about my 360.

I just got a 360 yesterday and I dont want it to brake or nothing, I know the chances arent that big but what im doing now is I have a fan about 60 cm's away from the 360 sort of blowing onto the back and side to keep it cool.

Is that a good idea or is having air blowing in not very clever.

If not then where should I position the fan etc?

any other advice, specifically regarding if its actually a bad idea having a fan near blowing into the console. will it damage it?
