So, my brother is in the process of downloading the Mythic Maps onto our Xbox right now. We use the same hard drive but have different XBL accounts. When he buys the Mythic Maps on his account, will they be on mine too because it is on the hard drive?

well thats not correct, because i have used all halo 3 maps on different live profiles. so you are wrong
I download them FULL, login to other account and the DLC doesn't show up and the games are trials.
It's either a glitch or your lying. ^-^

i dont remember him saying anything about arcade games? he specifically asked about the MYTHIC MAPS on HALO 3, which is why i answered my question the way i did
different dlc has different levels of how restricrted they are im pretty sure that all free dlc can be used no matter account is used and some games like burnout and crackdown have dlc that you can use with any account on the console but most dlc is fairly strict and all experience ive had with the mythic map packs i've needed to be on the same account and console that downloaded it.

the same console, yes, but not the same account. i have used three different accounts, with only one that actually payed for the maps and they have ALL been able to use them

I can half confirm this. I have 2 main accounts, on one i downloaded all the maps for halo 3. If i go onto the other one and try to play games i only have mythic and heroic. Not legendary, for some strange reason. But another strange thing is when i hook up two controllers, sign in both of my profiles, i can go and play on legendary no problem (which i ended up doing to get the legendary achievments for my other one).

you can just re-download the legendary maps, im pretty sure that fixes it
what you do is go to custom games and sign in with yours leaving his up then you set custom games to sandbox then wait till your account stops flashing then remove his account
