Question about original Bioshock (spoilers)

Is it true that Jack (the main character) is the son of the man who created Rapture? It just seems awfully coincidental that the plane would crash right next to Rapture, and that the only survivor would be the son of Rapture's creator. Is this explained in the storyline at all?

I'm not going to play through an entire game just to see if the question is answered or not. That's like saying I should get a medical degree just to find out if doctors have discovered a cure for Cancer yet.

So you want a huge spoiler ? Ok well this big btw.... I strongly suggest you just play through the game first

[spoiler] You around two years old but you mature faster, ryan and I forgot the woman he impregnated her with you, you were trained and blah blah, you think you have a life outside the world but you actually don't. The plane crash was on purpose, that plane was ment to go down. It was just somewhat of a trick to add on to the hypnotism. and you are commanded to do anything when someone says "Will you kindly" [/spoiler]

Jack was the "accidental" son of andrew ryan by jasmine jolene , an entertainer, in truth fontaine or "atlas" hired her to have wild whoopee with andrew ryan and hired doctor suchong to mentally and phisically condition jack when he was born,jack's physical conditioning makes him age really fast, as the moment of plane crash jacks real age is 4 years old, and his mental conditioning made him a slave whenever he hears the phrase "Would you kindly".

Then we see jack inside the plane, during the game we discover that the present jack was holding was infact a pistol, and the message says "Would you kindly hijack the plane in this co-ordinates 63° 2' N, 29° 55' W"

and then thats where the game starts
