Ok ok...so I think I may get a 360 for christmas, and I have never really looked into the 360 so i really have no idea whatsoever about this console. I was wondering if you guys could answer a quick question for me.

I don't care about b/c games...i know halo and halo 2 are and those would be the only ones i would be playing. So do i need to really get the elite? I hear the pro (preimium or whatever) will play certain games b/c.

As for HD space I dont really care.. i dont plan to get online anytime soon with live...the whole paying 100$ for the wireless thing is a joke and dont have a way to hardwire it.

So would I be ok with just getting a pro or whatever because its like 100 bucks cheeper... and I would rather do that then pay for the elite.

What about reliability? is one better then the other?

P.S. is MS still doing the 3 year warranty thing? because if so that would be awesome.

Thanks much for your help guys and I need to get a foot into this generation of gaming...I still have a Gamecube and Ps2 haha :)

you could just get an Arcade b/c your not getting live. You wont rly need that much space and if u do buy XBL u can just buy an HDD. 360 is useless w/o XBL though.

They both play the same games, so there's no difference there. The only difference between the 60GB pro and the elite is the size of the HD and that the elite comes with the HDMI cable. Also you should really get live it's worth it, some places you can get it for like 40 bucks and that is about 3 bucks a month.
