I just recently moved my 360 to a smaller TV in my house. I need help with how to format the screen settings. All I can think of is changing full screen to wide screen but it does nothing. The problem is that the bottom of the screen gets cut off and its really annoying while playing games.

So how can I change the size of the screen? Thanks.

What kind of TV is it? If it is a CRT, there is nothing you can do but try changing to a lower resolution on your 360

Well its just a older TV (not plasma or anything new). Its at normal instead of widescreen and the resolution is at 480.

so, it's a CRT. I'm sorry to say there's nothing you can do.

You may wanna try switching to standard definition if you haven't already, also check to see if your tv has an option for overscan correction (it might be called something else) in its menu.
