I was just wondering if this thing was worth the money... I've always been sketchy about wireless networks, especially for gaming. Will I get the same performace with this adapter as my standard ethernet cable?
Wired connections are usually better. If it's possible to get a really long ethernet cable and keep it hidden, then do that to save some money. I have a wireless adapter beause I don't want to go through the hassle to hide the wire but it works fine. It was pretty hard on my budget though since I bought it for full retail price ($100).
I have to say that I'm quiet happy with my wireless adapter, no compaints. If its convient I dont see any problem with using the e-cable, but for me my 360 isnt near my dsl modem so thats why I went that route.
ok, I have another question. which wireless router works best with the xbox adapter? I have an old ****** but I've decided to upgrade. are there any brands or models that get along with the adapter in particular? or is there just an all-around decent one I can get at my local Best Buy?
