I have a 60gb xbox 360, but only have 3 gigs left on the drive. Im going to buy a new 120gb hard drive off amazon to replace the old one, but was wondering about something/

I installed Saints Row 2 from games on demand, would I be able to redownload it on the new Xbox because I bought it already?

Also, by doing recover gamertag, would all my save game data from my games automatically transfer to the new hard drive?

Thanks

PS: Do I really need to buy the overrpriced transfer cables -.-?

Saints Row 2: Yes. You can download purchased items as often as needed for as long as they're available on Live. Save game data: No. You'll have to transfer saves from the old drive to the new one. PS: you can use a USB flash drive. Some things (like Fable save games) cannot be transferred this way however. You can get the transfer cable for $17 or less on Amazon. Using it is fast and easy and it's good to have one around anyway just in case.

No recovering your tag will not do the same with game saves. The gamertag is the account and game saves are stored on the hard drive they are 2 very different things.

You will need either a transfer kit of use a USB flash drive.

Yes any DLC can be re downloaded as long as your using the same account.
