Question about Xbox 360...

I really want to get an Xbox 360 and currently plan to do so but I keep hearing that I have to have an HD tv to really enjoy the graphics of games like Oblivion or Lost Planet. I don't have an HD tv and probably won't get one anytime soon so is it still worth it to get a 360???

I don't have an SDTV that I have tried my X-Box 360 on... I bought a HDTV about a month before the X-Box 360 came out, so I have no idea, but I will say this... I can't imagine myself ever buying an SDTV ever again.........

K thanx for all the responses guys. I'm just gonna get a 360 and try to save up for an HD tv later. I know that graphics aren't the most important things about a console-I am the proud owner of a Wii-but I was a little worried that I would spend $400 on semthing that wouldn't even look good on my tv. Thankfully, I'm glad to hear that the games still look good. Thanks again guys!deftpunk

Hey, just like everyone else said, its worth getting regardless of what type of TV you have. The games are worth playing period. But I have to admit, HDTV looks amazing... I just got my Hi Def TV two weeks ago, after 16 months with my 360 and College Hoops looks like a new game altogether!!!StromileSwiftee

Deffinatly dude, just buy it... It's great, just make sure you have a two year warantee because an average X-Box 360 has a good chance of getting the 3 flashing red lights of doom after the standard 1 year warantee... You can play it on a SDTV, but it is well worth it to save up and get a HDTV.........
