I am a little short on cash and I want to see if MS will cancel my Gold account since I don't use it anyway. I tried the 1-800-4MY-XBOX number and it said my call couldn't be completed, and I have tried over and over and keep getting the same message. If I can't pay the bill, is there anything MS can do, like delay my payment or just cancel this month? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can set your gold sub to not renew under the account management tab on the 360.

Go to "Membership Level" on the left on the "My Account" page. It'll say what type of membership you have and then under it will be "Automatic Renewal: ON". Click on "ON" and it will take you to a stupid screen advertising all the Gold-Exclusive features, just scroll to the bottom and hit next (repeat 4 times ugh) then you can select "OFF".

To remove your credit/debit card info you have to actually call them. If you hit remove credit card on the Manage Payment Options screen, it will say you have an outstanding balance on your card even though you don't.

Or you could just try to buy an arcade game that exceeds the number of microsoft points you have, and when it prompts you, ask to "add microsoft points" and in that screen you can look at the membership info/ edit it. Personally, I would say that is faster and easier.
