Ok, that question is very common and Im sure lots of people have asked that question ... If you do not know, please do not respond, thanks!

I have a 19" HDTV Sanyo(also) MiniDV Sony Handycam. Been trying to record gameplay... Ive done gameplay recording before on my PC but never from my TV to camcorder. So, the camcorder comes with the A/V cable spicifically design for that kinda purpose (Recording from a TV ... its in the manual) Ive done everything that manual says, I plug in the S-Video cable to the TV with the rest of the RCA cables but nothing comes on. Switched the display on my xbox 360 from HDTV to TV, even changed the resolution to the lowest if im not mistaken is 480... still it doesnt show up. So what am I doing wrong?

you got your rca cables on video out from your tvright ? cause that prolly would help. push record ? sometimes its the simple things that getchya ;)EvilBaby

rca cables could actually go in one place only ... and must be the one with the S-Video input, so i guess i have the cables right. Dont see wherelse they could go in. The back of the TV has 3 lines for outputs, middle is for HDTV so as the left one and the right one is the one with the S-video output and 5 rca outputs. When i push record it wont record anything... the camera lcd screen is blank/blue.Shouldnt the footage from the TV show up on the LCD display on the cam?
