Questions for A Future 360 Owner

Okay, for my 14th B-daymy parents areplanning on getting a 360 elite ora PS3. After a lot of thinking I decided to go with the 360, because its cheaper, I really liked Xbox more then PS2, big halo fan, they've stolen plenty of exlcusives from PS3, now theirs a 3 year warranty which is a huge releif. I live in Canada so it will cost about $550. I just have a few questions.

What are the must have accesories?

Im planning on getting Xbox Live Gold, 2 extra contollers for cousins and friends, and thats about all I can think of.

What are the must have games?

The games list is: Gears of War, Oblivion, Halo 3, Bioshock, Fable 2, and a few other good FPS and RPG's. My goal is to only buy great games, no bad or mediocore games for my collection, I really made bad desisions for games when I was 8 and I had a PS2...

Are their any other FPS or RPG"s or any genre games that are also worth looking at?

Do most of you rent or buy games?

Like I stated above, I am only buying great games and ill rent anything else...

What are some great games, features for the 360 elitethat are already on it or will soon be their?

Is it better for me to buy a 360 elite its only a 50 buck difference between regular and elite.

The extra hardrive could be awsome for stories movies, music and some other files I think?

How is Xbox Live is it active alot of people on their???

There aren't any really must have accessories. The one I really like is the wireless headset, giving me a completely wireless experience.

Gears of War, Oblivion, Rainbow Six and Forza 2 are all really popular games.

Mass Effect is a good RPG to look into. There are a ton of shooters coming out this year like Unreal Tournament 3 and Call of Duty 4...both of which will be must-haves.

I buy all the games I want, while consistently renting any high-profile games through gamefly.

IPTV is coming this year, which will give a premium service of making your Xbox 360 into a DVR, and the huge Elite HDD will be great for that.

The Elite is definently a better choice.

And Xbox Live has millions of people.

when you get xbox live just download demos, look at reviews, listen to opinions, much like buying a car.

theres thousands of people on live so dont worry about being bored.

if your getting wireless controllers then get a play and charge kit or the regular charger kit so batteries wont be a problem.

why arent you thinking about arcade games? Everybody loves Castlevania Symphony of the Night (which is an RPG).

If you have people over alotand always play together and you happen to be into classic rock then maybe Rock Band

All those games are must haves include: Ghost recon advanced warfighter 1/2 and Rainbow six vegas

I have no idea about RPGs im a shooter fan

I rent "ok" games i dont think twice b4 buying the great games

The elite allows HDMI and....its black plus you will be kick a** with a black xbox

the xbox does everything so 120 gbs is probably going to be the best perk of the elite

There are millions of ppl on xbox live as long as you fine ppl you like to play with it is a great exprience.

you are going to have to deal sooner or later with a whole bunch of either drunk and/or high a**holes on xbox live but like i said if you find ppl you like to play with its great

OMG don't listen to this guy.

First off, you don't want to have both the play and charge and the quick charge....that's retarded.

The intercooler destroys xbox 360s, and voids your warranty.
