1. Can you choose what you want to say sometimes?
2. Are there any side quests?
3. Is this game like Oblivion how you can just free roam and do other stuff besides missions

1. Yes, definately. http://youtube.com/watch?v=_btNlJPWoZk
2. Yep
3. yes and no. Planets are sometimes big open areas, sometimes cities, sometimes both. You do have a vehicle to explore so some planets must be big.Â
just search it up, googles there for a reasonÂ

the game got pushed back from its June/July date to September... although even the new September estimate is likely to be pushed back (so it won't compete with Halo 3 in sales).
but based on previews of the game, and how Bioware RPGs usually are:
1) you cannot choose different things to say like you have in past Bioware games. for example, when someone asks you a simply yes or no question, you will not have a choice to say either yes or no. the new dialogue feature in this game is based on how you answer your questions... not what you say. for example, if someone asks you if you can do them a favor, you can either say "yes, i would love to" or "you greedy b*****d... i'll only do it because I WANT TO, not for your lazy a**." the way you answer your questions will reflect on how other species will view your own race.
2) most likely.
3) you can go to any planet you want and do side missions rather than your main missions (if side missions exist, which i am fairly sure they will be in there), but its not like Oblivion where you can just forget your main quest all together and do whatever you want. the game sticks much more to the main story.Â

no the game hasnt gotten pushed back, everything that says its been pushed to september is just a rumor. bioware said themselves everything is a rumor until u hear a date from them. and im pretty sure that u can choose different things to say in mass effect.
