Hey Everyone,

I know that this question is asked a lot around here. But I was wondering if the 360 is still experiencing a lot of issues that it had before. Such as the disk scratching, overheating, freezing, etc. I am planning this summer to buy a new LCD for my room, and I've always wanted to get a 360, now I have the perfect thing to play it on, I am just unsure if it still has a lot of issues. Also, to add to my question. For the warranties, would it better to get a in-store warranty so if it does in-fact break I can just go back to the store and get it replaced. Also, with these store warranties, do you last so you can keep bringing it back if it keeps breaking. If you understand that question, lol. I hope you can answer all my questions, and give me a positive answer to get a 360. I also heard about a new chip being put into the 360's, but I think that isn't happening for a while, am I correct?

Thanks for any answers.

The problems still persist, even on the new Elite. If you buy a 360 you HAVE to also get the extended warranty. If you dont then youre either crazy or a gambler. 8)

This time last year, i was in the exact situation you are in. I took the plunge and *knock on wood* my 360's been fine since i got it. I do recommend getting a warranty just in case it breaks. I say get it and have fun, there are tons of great games on it right now and plenty more coming around November. If you wait till then, you will have a very hard time choosing which games to get with it, especially if you are on a limited budget for game.. so it's just better to get it now. Make sure that you dont keep it in a cramped space and dont leave it plugged to the wall when not in use, because the adapter heats up a little just by being plugged. Oh and i'm not sure if the warranty would allow you to get it replaced every time it breaks. I think it's time limited or something. You should ask the store.
