Okay, so I'm sick of replacing batteries every single time and wasting more since I play videogames a lot. So, I was wondering do you guys recommend either of these two and have they proven to be effective and useful? Also, if so, which one is preferable? I was thinking of getting the quick charge kit, but it's 30 bucks in stores. So, I'm wondering which is "better," I guess?

I would recommend just getting a charger and NiMH batteries - even regularly priced an Eneloop charger and 4 AAs is $20 or less (and I've seen them for $10 frequently). Keep one pair charged while you use the other pair, then swap them and recharge. The kits are annoying in that they ruin the whole point of having a wireless controller, plus they're expensive and have a very poor lifespan compared to real rechargeables.

So u been buying aa non recharge. Though it would been cheaper then buying recharge ones for price of 2 packs be better. You can go at it 2 route. I like the quick charge. 100% free wireless. If u do this buy second battery. Get off amazon. I picked up quick charge for like 15-17 then extra battery for $5 it was a blue one so I would never mix them up. I have one on charger while gaming. I had play an charge kit for 3 years tll it died on me. It was a pain. Making sure hooking the cord up at night. Even going back to lame wired bla bla. Route two just buy a pack of aa's recharge and a charger. There is you have two sets. Also the quick charge charges faster. I prefer using microsoft brand batteries. They have yet to disappoint me and last long time. As long as u don't care about the color cheapest one they have for extra battery is pink for $5. there u go. Now find something for 2 bucks for that free shipping. Even if u don't want not u could just buy something. when u get it say something wrong with it. they pay for shipping. OR if u or whoever u know has discover. u get get free one day shipping free with discover. I believe everyone got email on the first with a free code to use in promo. at least i did. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_14?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=xbox+360+quick+charger+kit&sprefix=xbox+360+quick%2Caps%2C557#/ref=sr_kk_3?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Axbox+360+rechargeable+battery&keywords=xbox+360+rechargeable+battery&ie=UTF8&qid=1332029273 http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Quick-Charge-Kit/dp/B0041CWZEM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332029260&sr=8-1&tag=solebrotcusts-20

Go with this. I got a sweet deal by getting a limited edition controller online for 1/3 of the price including a play+charge kit, but before that, I was strictly using rechargeable batteries and a charger. It's worth it in the long run. Put it this way: I bought a set of rechargeables around 3 years ago. Only now am I considering replacing them. Give them a charge when you're not playing, swap out, and save yourself some money.
