quick question about black ops.

I was playing with my buddy on the same tv with his xbox online but the screen is cut on the side, kinda like the two black bar on top and bottom when watching movie but except it's on the side. Is this normal?

Just go to the options from the main screen and adjust the screen position, that's what it sounds like to me. If that doesn't work I'm stumped.

sometimes on split screen that will happen to make sure the image isnt stretched or anything

its full screen for me on my tv in single player

however split screening ill get the bars on the side

happened in other games as well
